Melbourne historian Jonathan J. Crabtree has been studying the evolution of mathematics since 1983. In 1968 at age 7 he noticed a deep 398-year-old problem. As if pulling a loose thread, over the past 52 years Jonathan has unravelled the feeble fabric of western math education and rebuild it from India’s ZERO. Soon, India’s children will have the opportunity to learn maths just as Āryabhaṭa, Bhāskara and Brahmagupta would have intended.

Unknown in Australia, Jonathan is a sought after guest lecturer at Indian mathematics conferences, schools and universities. Having reviewed writings in Latin, Greek, Arabic, Sanskrit and many other languages, his papers, videos and presentations at www.podometic.in reveal how India’s ‘lost’ ancient mathematics is far superior to the western maths taught today.

IAEF launches its Plan-B Forum for Students and professionals

The India Australia Exchange Forum (IAEF) recently launched Plan-B, a monthly forum, with an aim to help students and young professionals create their own Plan-B for success.

The Plan-B forum will also assist them in exploring growth opportunities, meeting industry experts, sharing case studies, networking and volunteering.

The forum is designed to benefit emerging business owners, students and community leaders. Through this forum every month, IAEF plans to connect students, professionals and budding entrepreneurs to have a platform to collaborate and learn from each other under the guidance of the experienced .

In the very first Plan-B forum, which was attended by around 40 young professionals, the forum provided students and professionals an understanding of the Australian culture, employer expectations, improved communication and presentation skills and the all-important personal PITCH.
The event was held at RMIT University and was presented by Mr. Stephen Manallack, author of four books and blogger at “INTO INDIA”.

In the coming months, the forum will focus on the latest market trends, such as blockchain, real estate, e-Commerce, education and understanding new commercial opportunities.
